Vesperly is a secure, zero-knowledge digital vault for storing passwords, crypto seed phrases, final messages, instructions, and other text data. It uses heartbeat monitoring and RUFADAA-compliant access to let your executor retrieve content after your death or incapacity.
All encryption/decryption happens on your device (Patent Pending). Your master password never leaves your browser. We store only encrypted data. We make no absolute claims of invulnerability to future advances such as quantum computing.
You set a check-in interval. If you don't check in, reminders are sent. After a grace period, the account is flagged, and your executor can request access.
Your executor clicks the notification link, uploads a death certificate (death) or Power of Attorney + proof of incapacity, and answers security questions (if set). We perform a limited administrative review and approve if valid. They then use the password/code you shared while alive to decrypt the vault.
Yes — while you are alive and able. Share it securely (sealed envelope, lawyer, will). We cannot recover or store it.

We intend to process fiduciary access requests in a manner consistent with applicable U.S. law, including state implementations of RUFADAA where in effect. Laws vary by jurisdiction.
Users may not upload illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist materials, or content intended to facilitate crime. We do not monitor encrypted Vault Content but will cooperate with law enforcement when presented with a valid legal process. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
Vesperly uses industry-standard AES-256-GCM client-side encryption (Patent Pending). Encryption/decryption happens entirely on your device. We never see plaintext data. We use commercially reasonable safeguards, but no system is 100% immune to future advances such as quantum computing.
